NSW State Premier Gladys Berejiklian, has declared a State Emergency and Victoria has been declared as in State Crisis.  Really this is a national crisis with 47 lives lost, over 6 million hectares burned and thousands of homes destroyed.  Entire towns have been destroyed and evacuated.    

Many times throughout history, nations and peoples have held days of prayer or solemn assemblies and God has heard from heaven and broken the drought/natural disaster (healed the land).  Therefore, we intend to make the prayer a major focus of these 3 days.  We will turn and seek God, that He may pour out His mercy and break this drought.  We will also preach the gospel, as our nation is more open to the message of Jesus right now, than normally.  

We will also hold a BUSHFIRE APPEAL (online and at the event) and raise $1M for State Fire Services and bushfire victims.  And we will train and “GO LOVE” on the third day.

As we were trying to raise funds for our gospel event, we discovered that with the national emergency many feel that other support agencies needed the funds more – however – we believe that we can’t cancel altogether as we still need to unite, pray and preach the gospel.  We have chosen do choose a cheaper venue where we can then donate the extra money raised to the RFS and bushfire victims, thereby not just praying and preaching, but also by giving generously to help those suffering and in need.

Our new venue is the EDESSA RECEPTION at Greenfield Park for the event January 16^th-18^th, 2020.  It seats 1500 people and is located in Greenfield Park, and the venue and production costs are only a tiny percentage of what Qudos Bank Arena would be.  We can than raise money and collect goods for a Bushfire Appeal, looking after those who are suffering and in need.  

The Word says, Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in Heaven.  By raising this money for the victims, we can quench a lot of the voices asking where the Christians and Churches are in this crisis (even though we are there in the thicket of it, much of it is hidden from the public eye).
